Documenting NZFW through polariods is not usual practice for me, but waiting for print doesn't sit well with me nor does the constant switching of heavy lenses. Who knows how film will sit. NZFW 2015: DAY 2

Day 2, short and sweet; one of the favourite overall days at Fashion Week minus uni in between. Ace power line up of Harman Grubiša, Lucilla Gray and Stolen Girlfriends Club couldn't get any more flawless. Day 2 or Wednesday kicked off NZFW Delegates Restore + Revive VIP breakfast at The Shelter hosted by EAT and Sans[ceuticals]; aesthetically pleasing aesthetics on show curated by EAT and Vicki Taylor, thank you. Lucilla Gray, ITZME & Julian Danger, Her Apparel & Willa & Mae, New Zealand Wedding Magazines Collection, New Generation 2, Harman Grubiša, Annah Stretton and Stolen Girlfriends Club. Flares have always been frowned upon passing the 70s; and to the average human where Fashion comes second in language may frown upon this, but in today's society the more you say 'screw it' the more you'll move forward. Good or bad. 'Screw it', wore a strapless bra for the first time, believe it or not. 'Screw it', cut my hair shorter than ever for the first time. 'Screw it', let's pair silver with gold. Late as hell, but that's what Fashion Week shows are about. Late. Making up for it are your photos shot by yours truly. First note, I like to shoot in mood in essence of a private moment without anyone watching; so fair warning, it's going to get shaded. The end of Marr for this year with nothing but a bang from Kate Sylvester's 'Sylvester', styled by Katherine Lowe; making history with what I can only describe as 'masterly performance' in one show. Two new girls and known faces take the stage as listed below - Libby and Dillyn @ Unique Models are miraculously killing, looking like they've just walked their hundredth - Ones to watch. Girls bringing their best sapphire steel on this night could possibly be the best thing; inspired by 70s Sapphire and Steel and bringing back time, Karen presents Time Machine at The Golden Dawn for Marr Factory. The first show of the series and already smashing every inch of cool. Designed by Karen Walker and Jade Leigh Kelly, could be their best yet but that's what we thought last year. Why not do it again? There's a certain charm about your not-so-typical. It's not everyday you see Amy Winehouse, Andy Warhol style on a shirt or strategically layered draping on garments; not so easy to pull off without it looking like an eyesore either. Looks like it was executed to foolproof aces on the 10th with 'Long Live' by NOM*d. I know - Days late and every other platform has distributed their stuff, so let's hope there's some difference to this and I didn't drop the ball tying back-to-back shows with assignments. NZFW CASTINGS 2015

2 Assignments, 4 quizzes, studying and 3 due blog posts left to go, none have been done. 2 due now, one down; Priorities, right? 8 August came Fashion Week castings and being surrounded by girls double my height may have been what I would be worried about some years ago after traumatizing heel to toe contact at the ball, but the least of mine now and played to angle advantages. Being short isn't so bad. However many agencies, 4 hours, no falls and hundreds later; equals to this. Continue for more.

Unique, a fairly new agency but one with the fastest rising agencies in this country. Hot off the press, here I bring you the girls jetting off to castings this Saturday. Hot off the press, here some of my favourite girls walking; Bernie, Sydney, Marnie, Erin, Kenzi, Liv, Isabella, Meg, Zoe and many more. It's always a common phrase being used, "Modelling is easy", there's no truth to that. Walking down the streets treating like it's a catwalk for these girls means landing. Landing Fashion Week.
