I FORESEE

Wednesday 12 March 2014

This year, the trend I saw at the Britomart Fashion Sessions 2014 was the dewy skin. If you asked me a few years ago what the trend would be, it'd be complete matte however, the trend seems to get dewier and dewier. For people with naturally oily skin (cough, me) this is the perfect time to embrace that shine! Of course, powder your T-zone as no one wants to look like a disco ball but certainly, embrace the shine on your cheekbones, cupids bow, forehead and brow bone! Oh natural is the way to go these days... less is more! This trend will be beautiful for Winter because everyone will stay with a matte complexion however, be different and go glow!

Our very own, Lorde for MAC (Due to launch in June 2014)
We can all thank the Lorde (ha) for bringing dark lips back this year! It will be no surprise that a dark colour will certainly be part of this young heroine's make up line for MAC Cosmetics. Although I love MAC but am not an animal testing supporter, there will definitely be cheaper and animal cruelty free alternatives to sport the dark lips trend this year. This collection is set to be released in June so keep your eyes peeled because young trendsetter's make up line will be all over the place! These colours are especially beautiful for Autumn/Fall and/or Winter.
