Being approached by anything you've been following for a while can hit you right in the heart; happened with Ponsonby based contemporary concept and lifestyle store, The Shelter curated by Vicki Taylor. Images of the above hanging bed popped up here and there on digital, often while always catching my eye, never visited the store in person. Minus peplum, minus agogo years; monochrome shapes and volume is all popularité nowadays. It's a common misconception that 70s flares are coming back. No, not really, don't think so.
