First and foremost, welcome back to a new and improved - I've been working on this for a long time and can finally share work with you all. After weeks of recoding, it's finally done. Second of all, a new and improved doesn't just come with a new look, but new content too. Better quality images, better writing and better everything. Expect it coming. There's so many movements lately, might as well create my own movement, right? I've never had the courage or resources to show you who I truly am as a blogger, someone who's truly passionate about what I do. Thirdly, last Saturday for a brief moment, I went to Britomart Fashion Sessions - initially just to take a few snaps backstage while I took some time off for assignments, but ended up going to 2 shows (Thanks, Britomart girls!); first class procrastination here. You may not know this, but I first tapped into the fashion industry by becoming a volunteer at this very event, it was hard work, but it was definitely one of the most rewarding things I've ever done for myself so these shows holds extreme sentimental value. Hard work definitely pays off in the long run, keep on fighting.

So here's the sitch. One week of university down, and I'm not sure how to go about that. 52 more weeks of no one telling you to study sounds more painful than someone telling you to study every day. How I'm feeling now, and since the start of the week is reflected in this outfit here, those complicated layers of constantly wanting more and not feeling like you've crammed enough in your brain, that constant dissatisfaction with your brain when you first get into university is unreal; but maybe that's just from the unnecessary, paranoid and crazy high expectations for myself.  I don't think I've ever forgotten to eat and sleep until this point in life. Despite this I don't think I've ever liked school so much in my life either, much like styling, photographing and blogging. It's the constant dissatisfaction of the photography, styling and blogging that gets me going, it's the constant dissatisfaction that makes me want to improve as a person, and I don't ever think you'd ever be satisfied. I have three goals this year to 'improve' on that self, not the "I want to lose weight" or "I want to exercise more" junk; 1. Quality weekly blogging (1-2 posts a week) 2. Get a job at Karen Walker 3. Pass those prerequisite courses 4. Study at least 3 hours a day 5. Do more editorials and hopefully pitching them to a local magazine for print. 6. Launch new and improved High expectations. All on show, better not disappoint and embarrass myself now right? (Outfit details below, as always).
